Hi, I am Dr. Alexis Tomaszewski
I am a proud Wisconsinite from Verona, Wisconsin. I completed my undergraduate degree at Edgewood College and then graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry. I live in Waukesha, Wisconsin, with my fiancé and two cherished Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
From a young age, I was fascinated with dentistry. At 12, I shadowed a dentist for the first time, which sparked a lifelong interest. For my 14th birthday, I asked for a Waterpik — a clear testament to my early fascination with oral health.
My holistic approach to dentistry took shape during my dental school years when I faced a mysterious illness. Initially, I was dismissed by conventional medical professionals. With determination, I found supportive providers who helped me on my journey to improving my health. My experience taught me the importance of self-advocacy and exploring health solutions beyond traditional medicine. It sparked my curiosity about conventional dentistry’s often-dismissed connections between the body and oral health.
I value offering the best treatment options available, rooted in the understanding that oral health is intricately linked to overall well-being. My personal philosophy centers on being a lifelong learner. I highly value continuing education and believe it is my responsibility as a dentist to learn new and better ways to treat patients, ensuring they receive the best care possible.
Beyond dentistry, I enjoy taking on various home improvement projects with my fiancé. We take pride in our historical home, focusing on renovations that respect and highlight its unique character. Additionally, I am passionate about gardening and add to my garden every year. It is extremely rewarding to harvest fresh organic produce in my backyard.
